Andronikou issues player warning

Administrator Andrew Andronikou has warned agents against continuing to attempt to prise Kevin-Prince Boateng and Nadir Belhadj away from Fratton Park "on the cheap".

Both the Ghana midfielder and Algeria wing-back have been linked with moves abroad following the club's relegation from the Premier League.

But despite Pompey still being in administration, Andronikou insists he will only sanction the sale of key players should he receive suitable offers.

Italian side Lazio were recently linked with a £8million double swoop for both players.

"We've been listening to the tittle tattle and waiting to hear from clubs," said Andronikou. "I'm sick to death of dealing with agents.

"We want clubs to come through with the offers and not have to deal with these agents. We are not going to let them go on the cheap."
