Almeria consider Lauren deal
Almeria are weighing up a move for former Arsenal and Portsmouth defender Lauren.
The 32-year-old Cameroon international, who left Fratton Park last month, began his professional career in Spain before joining the Gunners in 2000, and reports suggest he could return after his agent opened talks with La Liga side Almeria.
It is believed Lauren, who holds a Spanish passport, has already returned to the country and is now attempting to finalise a deal.
Lauren recently revealed that he was eager to secure first-team football next season to bolster his chances of featuring in the 2010 World Cup and he said: "I think I could still add good qualities to a squad."
