Al Fahim wants Pompey stay

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Portsmouth chairman Sulamain Al Fahim has reiterated his intention to remain with the club.[LNB] Al Fahim bought Portsmouth in late August, but just 40 days later he sold 90 per cent of his shareholding to Ali Al Faraj.[LNB]Al Faraj has been reported to be looking to take control of Al Fahim's remaining holding - but he insists that will not be happening.[LNB]"Contrary to speculation, I have no intention whatsoever of selling my shareholding in Portsmouth Football Club," he told The News.[LNB]'"I am very proud to own a 10 per cent share in a club that I believe, now as much as ever, has a strong future.[LNB]"There is much work to be done in the coming months, from restructuring the business so it works on a sound footing, to developing both the team and all associated facilities including the stadium.'[LNB]Al Faraj is also believed to be lining up other investors to join the club and Al Fahim is fully supportive of that.[LNB]There has been much confusion surrounding the ownership of the football club in recent weeks.[LNB]"As chairman of the club and a shareholder, I look forward to working with the rest of the board and other shareholders as we go forward.[LNB]"My investment in the club is for the long term - and by that, I mean many, many years."[LNB]
