Vale appoint Sinnott

Port Vale have named Farsley Celtic manager Lee Sinnott as the permanent successor to Martin Foyle.
The 42-year-old transformed Farsley, guiding the Throstle Nest-based side to three promotions in four seasons, and leaves them in the Blue Square Premier, the highest placing in their history.
Vale chairman Bill Bratt hopes Sinnott, who has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the League One strugglers, can lift the club up the table.
He told The Sentinel: "I hope our fans can get behind Lee and also Dean Glover, he needs a lift as much as anybody.
"I think everyone is looking forward to having a decent season.
"Getting into the play-offs is still not impossible if we could get on a run of three or four wins, but we have to make sure we are safe in this division first. I am sure with Lee and Dean working together we can achieve that.
"No-one is expecting miracles at Port Vale, it will take time for Lee and Dean to bed in.
"Football is basically the same at any level, it just gets more expensive. But I think, if anything, it is harder in non-league with no money to spend."
