Crystal Palace midfielder Sam Togwell has agreed to extend his loan stay at Port Vale until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old initially moved to Vale Park in November and has made 13 appearances for the club.
Vale boss Martin Foyle is pleased with the development, telling the club's official website: "I've been delighted at the progress he's made while he's been here - he's done great for us and impressed everyone at the club.
"It's been really hard trying to deal with the transfer window with clubs making it more and more difficult and I'm having to paper over the cracks.
"That makes it even more pleasing to have Sam with us until the end of the season. He's improving all of the time and will make a big difference to us."
