Port Vale boss Lee Sinnott has started to prepare for life in League Two next season by snapping up Nuneaton Borough midfielder Robert Taylor on a two-year deal.
The former Redditch player has been signed by Vale after impressing during a recent trial spell with the club.
Taylor said: "I'm excited about the prospect of playing for Port Vale. It's a massive opportunity for me, one that's come just at the right time, as I've just finished my studies at university.
"I played in a few reserve games and came down for a week and trained with the lads.
"I'm a left midfielder but have also played at left-back. I like to attack, I love to get forward and take players on. I like to think I'm quick and strong and I love to have a shot as well."
