Sinnott calls for resolution

Port Vale manager Lee Sinnott hopes the proposed takeover of the club will be resolved quickly. Edinburgh businessman Pat Munro plans to make a formal offer, believed to be in the region of £5million, for the struggling League One club who already seem certain to be relegated this season. Sinnott said: "He's been down a couple of times and I've had a friendly two-minute chat with him both times. "But I'm not in the meetings when the serious talk goes on. Whether the budget changes is the only thing of interest to me. "Of course the sooner these things are completed the better for all concerned. But until things change, I'll carry on with the original plan."
