Port Vale boss Lee Sinnott has offered former Wolves midfielder Kevin O'Connor a trial with the club. The 22-year-old, who made three first-team appearances for the Championship side, has also represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 level. Sinnott told Vale's official website; "It's just a case of Kevin having a look at us and us having a look at him - that's all there is to it at the moment." O'Connor struggled with a hamstring injury during his time at Molineux and was released by Mick McCarthy in May.
