Loss disappoints Sinnott

Port Vale boss Lee Sinnott was disappointed by his side's display in the 2-1 weekend defeat at Darlington.

Sinnott felt that the Valiants had failed to impose themselves on a game which they could have won.

He told The Sentinel: "I was annoyed and that's probably the most printable word I could use.

"I thought the game could have gone either way and it was there for the taking.

"It was a bit of a lacklustre game to be honest and it was waiting for somebody to just grab hold of it."
