Port Vale have signed versatile forward Lewis Haldane on a month's loan from League One Bristol Rovers. The 24-year-old was told that he could leave Rovers at the start of the season and has not featured for the Pirates at all this term. Vale boss Micky Adams told the club's official website: "I have been impressed with Lewis during training and I'm pleased we have managed to secure him a month's loan. "He will bring some width to the squad, as well as a different option moving forward." Haldane has scored 17 goals in 176 appearances for Rovers, while also spending time on loan with both Forest green Rovers and Oxford United.
