Glover turns down Vale offer

Former Port Vale boss Dean Glover has decided to end his 18-year association with the club despite being offered the post of youth coach at Vale Park.
He replaced Lee Sinnott as manager in October 2008, but presided over a disappointing season and was told earlier this month that he would not be in charge of the first team next term.
Glover said: "Having given the offer lots of thought I've decided that it's time to move on and look for a new challenge.
"I've had a long association with the club and have enjoyed both the highs and lows that the club has experienced over the years."
