Glover fears Prosser battle

Port Vale boss Dean Glover fears that he could lose the services of Luke Prosser at the end of the season.

The 20-year-old defender is out of contract in the summer and has not as yet been offered a new Vale Park deal.

Walsall and Stockport County have been linked with the highly-rated youngster, with Glover admitting: "All the players whose contracts are up at the end of the season are available from January onwards.

"That's what their agents are there for. They go around to clubs to try to get something for their players. They're doing their jobs.

"It's a hindrance, but we'll deal with the situations as they arise."
