Port Vale chairman Bill Bratt has slammed some of the club's players, following the dismal 1-1 FA Cup second round draw at home to Chasetown.
The Valiants will have to face the British Gas Midland League side for a second time to try and finish the job, having been given a rough ride by the home fans at Vale Park after the first game.
Bratt told The Sentinel: "The side was disjointed and we seem to have a lot of players who don't want to play for Port Vale. The quality wasn't there, it is not good enough.
"I feel we let ourselves down, but that's not taking anything away from Chasetown. Their endeavour was better than ours and they seemed to want it a lot more.
"I just feel the side didn't perform the way it should do. It hurts everyone in the club and the trouble is it is getting to the fans now.
"We are going to lose more support unless we start turning the corner. There was a nasty atmosphere at the end."
