Brammer keen on Vale stay

On-loan midfielder Dave Brammer is hoping to remain at Port Vale on a permanent basis. Brammer rejoined the Valiants for a second spell from Millwall at the beginning of the month but is keen to stay in the Potteries. The 33-year-old midfielder has also played for Stoke City, Crewe Alexandra and Wrexham during his 15-year professional career. "At the minute, I'm just enjoying being at home every day and playing football all the time," he told the club's official website. "The fact that the club has helped me to start playing again in the short term means I'm not looking to go anywhere else. "I'm just looking to play football and, if Port Vale want me to stay and it can be sorted out, then I'd look to do that. "Both parties have got to try and come to some sort of agreement. I'm just going game by game."
