Adams chastises Jeffers

Port Vale boss Micky Adams insists Sheffield Wednesday striker Francis Jeffers clearly head-butted Tommy Fraser during his side's 2-0 victory against the Owls in Tuesday's second round Carling Cup tie.
Jeffers was sent off and faces a three-match FA ban which Adams believes the striker's actions warranted.
Adams said: "I saw it clearly. There was contact between both players, but then Franny chased Tommy and head-butted him.
"Franny is a player I do know. I tried to sign him for Coventry. I thought I'd got him but he ended up going to Blackburn. That's not like him. He'll be disappointed with that."
