Adams: Vale are kings of the road

Micky Adams admitted Port Vale are playing with added freedom away from home after his side continued their 100% record on the road with a 2-0 victory at Bradford.Justin Richards and Marc Richards earned the Valiants victory in West Yorkshire, and their third away win on the bounce in the process.Marc Richards put Vale in front after 33 minutes when heading home Gary Roberts' corner, before namesake Justin forced a second in the 75th minute."Sometimes it is easier to play away from home and sometimes there is more pressure on the home team to produce," said Vale boss Adams. "You need big players and players to win the ball. Maybe we relaxed a bit more away from home."We had a bit of luck where one of our defenders hit his own crossbar, but all Bradford's chances were caused by our own sloppiness. We needed the second goal and we had a bit of good fortune to get it."We are delighted with the start we have made - five games and 10 points - and we can live with the expectations that that brings."
