Adams: Let's go on another run

Published: 07 Feb 2010 - 14:46:19

The visitors piled the pressure on after falling behind to Jacques Maghoma's first-half goal and felt they should have had a penalty when Marc Richard's overhead kick appeared to hit a raised Burton arm. Adams refused to criticise referee Phil Crossley in the aftermath, though, but admitted he was unhappy with his side's defending that lead to Albion's winner. He said: "We conceded a sloppy goal in the first half, from a throw-in really, which was disappointing, but overall I thought two honest hard-working teams cancelled each other out. "It's always frustrating when you lose, but nothing is decided with 19 games still to go. I've got an honest, hard-working bunch of players and our fans have gone away knowing we gave it a go. "Records are always there to be broken and the best response we can make is to go on another run."
