Vale wait on Collins
Port Vale`s only injury concern remains Lee Collins ahead of the trip to Stockport.
The defender has missed the last three matches with shin splints and will again be monitored ahead of the trip to Edgeley Park, although manager Micky Adams is unlikely to reshuffle his backline even if Collins recovers in time.
Centre-back John McCombe grabbed an unlikely brace in the 2-1 win over Wycombe at the weekend while putting in a fine display alongside Gareth Owen and full-backs Adam Yates and Kris Taylor.
Adams named an unchanged side for the victory - only Vale`s second in eight league games - from the one which saw off non-league Dartford 4-0 last Tuesday and must now decide whether to do so for a third successive match.
On-loan forward Jake Speight returned from his calf problem to make a late cameo from the bench.
