Vale share the spoils with Harriers

Jamie Guy, who is currently training at Vale Park with a view to a loan move, followed up Doug Loft's blocked effort to grab his first goal for the club from close range in the seventh minute.

Chris McPhee hit the bar for Harriers almost immediately, before firing the ball home from Kyle Hadley's corner shortly after.

Dean Bennett's header handed Kidderminster a 35th-minute lead but Marc Richards coolly levelled matters just before the hour mark to earn the League Two side a share of the spoils.

Vale boss Micky Adams now takes his charges to Nantwich on Tuesday ahead of next weekend's season opener at home to Rochdale.
