Vale looking strong for Shakers visit

18 September 2009 13:48
Vale's 1-1 draw at Aldershot last weekend means the resurgent League Two club are now five games unbeaten in all competitions. Adams will be looking to extend that run against a Bury side who have struggled at home this term but have been solid on their travels. Striker James Lawrie has been in and around training this week after having his appendix removed but it remains to be seen whether he will be involved against the Shakers. Left-back Kris Taylor returned from a thigh strain at the EBB Stadium and he will be okay to feature once again. Goalkeeper Joe Anyon continues to step up his recovery from a broken leg but is not yet ready.
