Bratt and various other members of the club's nine-man board are looking to finish the process by the end of this week before starting interviews, with a new boss installed by the end of the month at the very latest.[LNB]Former Carlisle manager Ward, who guided Cheltenham to promotion from League Two in 2005/06, is the early favourite to replace Dean Glover, although several other names have also been mentioned including Micky Adams.[LNB]And although Bratt admits Ward is a contender, he has stressed it is not a one-horse race.[LNB]"John is interested, but we need to go into a lot more detail regarding what his ideas are for the club," the Vale chief told BBC Radio Stoke. "We'll see what comes of that, but there are six or seven other people that we want to set our sights on."[LNB]Elsewhere, Vale have offered keeper Daniel Lloyd-Weston and midfielders Luke Chapman, Danny Edwards and Paul Dixon one-year contracts.[LNB][LNB]
