Vale boss waits on Rigg fitness
The on-loan striker missed the goalless draw against Macclesfield with a hamstring injury and is again doubtful.[LNB]Striker Geoff Horsfield has also been struggling with a hamstring problem and it remains to be seen whether or not he will be fit enough to feature.[LNB]Boss Micky Adams also has a decision to make over which formation to use at Spotland.[LNB]A 4-4-2 formation has proved effective in recent games, but with Rochdale posing a big attacking threat, he could switch back to a more defensive system.[LNB]If he opts for the latter centre-back John McCombe is likely to be recalled to play in defence.[LNB][LNB]
