Vale boss ponders loan options

The striker has made just three cameo appearances during the four league games since his arrival back at the end of November, but he is certain to find himself with a bigger role to play in the quickfire triple bill coming up.[LNB]And with a lot of football to be played between now and January 2, when Rigg is due to return to the Memorial Stadium, Adams is holding off on a decision until closer to the time.[LNB]The Vale boss told The Sentinel: "He's not our player, so we need to be mindful of the wishes of Bristol Rovers.[LNB]"It's been difficult for Sean but he's played a part recently and I'm sure he will do over the Christmas period. We'll see what happens. I've got an open mind about lots of things at the moment and there are a lot of things bubbling under the surface."[LNB]Meanwhile, due to the freezing temperatures Vale are currently training on Nantwich Town's artificial pitch, although they have asked Staffordshire rivals Stoke if they could also share their indoor facilities until the weather improves.[LNB][LNB]
