Vale boss in weather frustration

The current snowfall and relentless sub-zero temperatures across Staffordshire and the rest of the country means Saturday's scheduled clash against Bradford at Vale Park is unlikely to go ahead.[LNB]Should the game get postponed it would leave Vale, and most teams in League One and Two, with a hectic schedule over January and February having already seen three out of their four festive fixtures bite the dust.[LNB]Adams told the club's official website: "We are in the same boat as everybody else so it's not as if we are going to be the only team that is going to be hit. When the weather sorts itself out we are going to be playing a lot of games in a short space of time and we are going to have to be fit and ready for it.[LNB]"Obviously training has been massively disrupted because of the conditions. I don't think we have been on grass now for two or three weeks which is disappointing but, as I said before, everybody is in the same boat. We have got to get on with it and make sure people are ready when we do play.[LNB]"The cash flow will be severely hit but all I am concerning myself with is trying to keep the players focused, which is very difficult. Football players don't like working without a ball and a lot of time recently has been spent working without a ball."[LNB][LNB]
