Vale boss delighted to get home win
The victory was Vale's first home win in the league since September 5.[LNB]Adams admitted he found it difficult to decide how much work to give his players in training as the big freeze brought a host of postponements over the festive season and into the new year.[LNB]But he said: "The attitude and application they have shown to their work has been first class. It's never easy when you go so long without playing.[LNB]"I thought we were terrific in the first-half, but we did tire a bit towards the end of the game and I suppose that could be expected.[LNB]"I've got to give the lads as much credit as I possibly can. We needed a home win and now we've got one."[LNB][LNB]
