Vale boss content to take a point

The Robins were largely outplayed throughout and fell behind to a Marc Richards strike just before they interval. However, they weathered the onslaught and Michael Pook levelled with a superb 25-yard effort after 66 minutes. Adams said: "All in all I've got to be very pleased with what we have produced. A lot of the players have been ill all week and we've had very little preparation for this match. "I thought we were looking comfortable at 1-0, but we needed to get that second goal to push us over the line and it didn't come, Cheltenham came back at us and sometimes you have to take a point when it comes along and move on. "We are delighted with Marc Richards' contribution to the team and that's three goals from him in the last four games. All strikers thrive on goals and he's thriving at the moment."
