Tomlinson wins appeal

Port Vale's Stuart Tomlinson has won his appeal against the red card he was shown against Rotherham. The goalkeeper was sent off for violent conduct following a clash with Marcus Marshall in Vale's 5-0 defeat to the Millers on New Year's Day and was due to start a three-match ban. Tomlinson will now be eligible for first-team action after the Football Association reviewed the decision and agreed the referee was wrong to produce the red card.
