Taylor revels at first Vale goal

The defender's spectacular 30-yard strike set the Valiants on the way to claiming their second Championship scalp in the Carling Cup, having knocked out Sheffield United two weeks ago. Rob Taylor bagged the second to secure Vale's place in the third round draw.[LNB]Taylor, who signed a short-term contract with Vale after being released by Hereford during the summer, told BBC Radio Stoke: "It's always nice to get your first goal and when it's a decent one it's even better.[LNB]"The main thing was the performance of the lads. Every one of us did our bit and it was a great result."[LNB][LNB]
