The attacking left-back penned a three-month deal at Vale Park back at the start of August and despite impressing in his short time at the club, it remains unclear what the future holds for the 25-year-old. Manager Micky Adams placed his entire squad on the transfer list following last weekend's defeat at Notts County while finances are also tight at the League Two club. But Taylor is hoping he has done enough to earn a new deal, and told The Sentinel: "When I first came down in pre-season I enjoyed it and enjoyed working with the players and management and I would like to extend my stay. "I don't know what the club and the manager are thinking and we need to sit down and think about where we are going to go."
