Stockley: Vale can beat Shrews
Paul Simpson's side are among the favourites for promotion after narrowly missing out last season, but Stockley believes the atmosphere in Vale's camp is strong despite their underwhelming start to the season.
And the 32-year-old believes the Valiants can prevail at the weekend.
"There's a bit of history between us and Shrewsbury," he told the club's official website. "It's a derby and it's a big one.
"The lads need to rest up now and do what's right and make sure that they are ready for a very tough game.
"Shrewsbury have hit a little bit of form but we need to concentrate on our game and what we are capable of doing. There isn't a team we fear."
