Stevenage clash called off
Port Vale`s League Two clash at home to Stevenage on Saturday has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The current snow and freezing temperatures sweeping Britain have left the Vale Park pitch unplayable and a decision was made following a referee`s inspection at 12.30pm on Thursday.
Frost covers have been in place since last Friday`s FA Cup encounter against Accrington but the severe temperatures have proved overwhelming, while the forecast for the next 48 hours shows no sign of matters improving.
No new date has yet been arranged.
