Roberts speeds to suspension
Port Vale midfielder Gary Roberts will miss next week's trip to Macclesfield through suspension after already racing to five bookings this season.
Roberts, who had earlier scored Vale's goal in Saturday's 1-0 win over Aldershot, was cautioned after an hour for a foul on Anthony Straker.
A fifth yellow card in just nine games this term means Roberts has to sit out the Macc game with a one-match ban.
