Roberts handed Vale extension
Port Vale midfielder Gary Roberts has signed a six-month extension to his deal at Vale Park.
The former Crewe player was initially given a six-month contract by manager Micky Adams in the summer but has impressed and scored the winner against Aldershot last weekend.
He will now stay until the end of the season but will miss out against Macclesfield this weekend after collecting his fifth booking of the season on Saturday.
