Port Vale hope Remie Streete will be available versus promotion-chasing Walsall

Port Vale hope defender Remie Streete will be available for Sunday's final game of the season at home to promotion-chasing Walsall.

Streete missed last week's defeat to Scunthorpe after injuring his hamstring in the warm-up, but has responded well to treatment and could feature against the Saddlers.

Vale boss Rob Page has targeted a top-10 finish and could make one change from the side which started at Scunthorpe, with top goalscorer Ajay Leitch-Smith in contention for a place in the starting line-up. Theo Robinson could be the man to make way.

Anthony Grant serves the final game of a three-match ban after collecting his 15th yellow card of the season against Gillingham last month.

Walsall could be unchanged as they look to seal automatic promotion on the final day.

The Saddlers are three points behind second-placed Burton and if Walsall win by a two-goal margin and Nigel Clough's Brewers lose to Doncaster, the Saddlers will be promoted.

Isaiah Osbourne is likely to be available for boss Jon Whitney after being out for the season with a knee injury although it would be a surprise to see him feature.

Whitney is likely to name an attacking line up with 19-goal striker Tom Bradshaw set to lead the line.
