Tendinitis sidelines Olamide Shodipo for Sheffield United clash

Port Vale will be without on-loan winger Olamide Shodipo, who is likely to miss the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old QPR loanee has developed a tendinitis problem that looks set to bring his campaign to an early close.

Manager Michael Brown could also be without defender Andre Bikey after he was forced off early in last weekend's defeat to Chesterfield with a hamstring problem.

But Remie Streete could return from his own hamstring injury while Danny Pugh is available again following suspension.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has reported no new injuries after his side secured promotion last week with victory at Northampton.

Defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell is pushing for a starting place after recovering from an ankle injury to step off the bench last Saturday.

Leading goalscorer Billy Sharp, fellow striker James Hanson and winger Mark Duffy, who all started as substitutes at Sixfields, are also pushing for recalls.

Striker Caolan Lavery will miss the remaining four games after sustaining knee ligament damage in last month's draw at Oldham.
