Adams to make changes Port Vale manager Micky Adams will once again freshen up his starting line up for the visit of Dagenham. Adams changed his team for the first time in 10 matches against Bradford on Saturday, bringing in Rob Taylor and Ryan Burge at the expense of Sam Morsy and Chris Shuker at Valley Parade. Despite seeing his side end City's 100 per cent home record with a 1-0 win, Adams is determined to keep his team as fresh as possible with the games now coming thick and fast. "We'll rest and recuperate in the right manner and I'll have another think about the team," said Adams. "I felt we lacked a little bit of energy in midfield last week [in losing 2-0 at home to Gillingham], so we tinkered with it for the first time in a while and we'll certainly do that on Tuesday." Long-term injury absentee Lewis Haldane (broken leg) and Darren Murphy aside, Adams has a full squad to choose from. John Still is likely to name an unchanged starting line-up for Dagenham's trip having seen his side finally record their maiden league victory of the season in style. Still watched his charges dismantle Wycombe 3-0 at Victoria Road on Saturday to claim their first three points of the campaign. Midfielder Billy Bingham and striker Dwight Gayle were recalled to the Daggers' XI and both found themselves on the scoresheet, meaning they are set to retain their starting berths. Afterwards Still spoke of the need to build on the result although second-placed Vale, with four wins from their previous five games, provide stern opposition. Long-term absentees Matt Saunders (ankle) and Kevin Maher (foot) continue to close in on their respective first-team returns.
