Knott in Vale frame

Port Vale manager Micky Adams can include Billy Knott in his squad for the first time when Crawley visit Vale Park.

Knott joined the League One side last week but the Sunderland midfielder was ineligible for Saturday's FA Cup tie against Brighton having already featured in the competition this season for Wycombe during a previous loan spell.

Joe Davis comes back into the reckoning having also been ineligible in the cup but fellow defender Carl Dickinson will complete a two-match suspension.

On-loan Sheffield United midfielder Florent Cuvelier will miss the remainder of the season with knee ligament damage.

Dannie Bulman is Crawley's only absentee.

Veteran midfielder Bulman remains sidelined with the fractured cheekbone he suffered against MK Dons on Boxing Day and is still three weeks away from a return to the side.

Boss John Gregory has an otherwise fully-fit squad to choose from and could hand a full debut to Gary Dicker.

Midfielder Dicker joined Town from Rochdale last week and came on as a late substitute in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Rotherham.
