Port Vale have extended Tom Pope`s loan stay at the club into a third month. The Rotherham striker, and lifelong Valiants supporter, fulfilled a childhood dream when he clinched an initial month-long move to the club in late January. His impressive displays saw that extended last month and caretaker manager Mark Grew has now opted to prolong his stay in Burslem even further. Pope registered his third goal in 10 appearances to secure a late 1-1 draw against Hereford on Tuesday. The Millers still possess a 24-hour recall clause on Pope`s services.
