PFA Fans' Player Of The Month November: Football League Two Winner

The votes are in and we have a winner. November's PFA fans' player of the month is none other than Tom Pope.

Tom Pope won our PFA Player Of The Month award for November with another stellar display. Port Vale remain in second place in the League Two, trailing leaders Gillingham by just 5 points.

Pope increased his goal tally to 21 goals this season, and has been a key figure in the Port Vale squad. Pope scored another 5 goals this month for Port Vale in their quest for promotion.

Tom Pope has 19 league appearances in just 22 appearances for Micky Adams' side. Pope sits comfortably at the top of the League Two goal scoring charts with his 19 goals, four infront of second place Jamie Cureton. Port Vale were unbeaten throughout November in the league with two wins and three draws – whilst they also recorded an FA Cup – First Round win over Forest Green.

Port Vale have continued there impressive form from last month – and look strong favourites for promotion this season into League One.

The award, voted for by fans across the world on http://www.football.co.uk, covers matches played during November 2012 and is a clear indication of how important Pope is to Port Vale and there promotion hopes.

The Award is one of the four divisional Awards voted for in open polls conducted by the PFA’s Digital Media Partner, Digital Sports Group.
