The 22-year-old has spent most of his career in non-league football, but he believes he has the attributes to succeed in the football league. "I work a lot on my fitness and getting about the pitch is one of my strengths," Griffin told The Sentinel. "But I did find it hard coming into League Two because of all the games coming thick and fast. That wasn't really the case in non-league so that was really a killer for me. "It is a step up from the Conference, so there is a bit more quality there as well."
