Vale and Alex encounters always have a lot riding on them while at this time of year, managers the length and breadth of the country are keen to stress each and every game is like a cup final.[LNB]But with Micky Adams' side battling to sneak into the play-off places over the remaining nine games, McCombe knows the stakes are higher than usual.[LNB]"Obviously we are a bit down about not getting all three points against Cheltenham. We thought we needed that to keep up with the other play-off hopefuls," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"We will go back to the drawing board and we have Crewe next week, which is a massive game for us. We are going to go into that positively and get three points.[LNB]"There are nine games left and quite a lot of points to play for. We have to keep going. Hopefully, a few teams will slip up and we will put a good run together between now and the end of the season and get the points we need."[LNB][LNB]
