Lloyd lands Fulham trial

Port Vale youngster Ryan Lloyd has attracted the interest of Fulham and will spend a week`s trial with the Premier League outfit at the start of May. The highly-regarded midfielder, 17, is approaching the halfway stage of his two-year spell in Vale`s youth team and his promise has not gone unnoticed by those in the top flight. Caretaker manager Mark Grew told Vale`s official website: "It is nice to know Premier League clubs are keeping a watch on our players. "Fulham showed an expression of interest and Ryan will spend a week with them. "We`ve had lots of interest from both Premier League and Championship clubs in several of our players and it`s nice to know we are going in the right direction."
