Horsfield - We can still go up

Port Vale caretaker manager Geoff Horsfield was a disappointed man after his first game in charge ended in a 5-0 defeat to Rotherham. Nicky Law, Ryan Taylor (2), Will Atkinson and Mark Randall were all on the scoresheet as Port Vale endured a torrid time at Don Valley. Horsfield said: "It's very hard when you`ve conceded five which makes it eight in the last two games after only conceding 10 all season. That's hugely disappointing. "But we've got to get them going because we've got Burton on Tuesday. Hopefully the fans will get behind us and we can get three points. "It's a psychological blow because we`ve conceded five and we haven't scored. They are disappointed in there, but they`ve still got a great chance of promotion because they are still the same set of lads who were here when Micky (Adams) was here and we`ve got to be positive and try to pick them up. "We`ve got to try and stop the downward spiral after three defeats on the trot."
