Haldane hopes to fire Vale up table

The 24-year-old scored one goal in an initial three-month loan spell from Bristol Rovers but recently rejoined the Valiants until the end of the season.[LNB]Haldane has not played competitively since Vale's 2-1 win over Lincoln at the start of December but is determined not to let a lack of first-team football hamper his form.[LNB]"I always wanted to come back to Vale. I had to go back to Rovers because I had been on loan at Vale for the full three months," Haldane told The Sentinel.[LNB]"In a way, the postponements have worked well for me because it means I haven't missed too many games here. But on the flip side, I haven't played a game for five-and-a-half weeks now, which is a long time considering we're in the middle of the season.[LNB]"I was delighted the club wanted me to come back and I had no hesitation in agreeing to re-sign for them. My aim is to be playing games and prove that the manager was right to bring me back. I want to help get Vale promoted and then try to sort out my long-term future."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
