Haldane cleared to play in JPT tie

The forward officially completed the paperwork on Monday morning having made what would have been the final appearance of his initial month-long stay in Saturday's goalless draw at home to Bournemouth in League Two. And he has been granted permission by parent club Bristol Rovers to line up against County at Vale Park on Tuesday night. Doug Loft may be a doubt for the clash having picked up a calf injury at the weekend but fellow midfielder Rob Taylor could return from the virus that ruled him out altogether against the Cherries. Recent signing Jason Jarrett contributed with a man-of-the-match performance on his debut against Bournemouth and he should again be in the frame for a place in the middle of the park Goalkeeper Joe Anyon has been on the Vale bench for the past three games after recovering from his broken leg and whether manager Micky Adams opts to throw him in against Stockport for the first time since March remains to be seen.
