Grew ponders more changes

Port Vale caretaker manager Mark Grew is again expected to make changes for the visit of second-placed Bury. Grew opted to make six changes for Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Hereford, handing recalls to defenders Gareth Owen and Lee Collins, midfielders Louis Dodds, Gary Roberts and Anthony Griffith and forward Justin Richards. But speaking about the team performance afterwards, he said: "Some of the players I thought would perform didn`t do very well and they will be looking over their shoulders as we prepare for Saturday`s game." Grew has no new injury problems to contend with, but Sean Rigg serves the second game of his three-match suspension. It remains to be seen whether on-loan midfielder Exodus Geohaghon will play any part having been missing in midweek following his claims, and the subsequent investigation, that he was racially abused by Vale fans at Accrington last weekend.
