Left-back Lawrence Wilson and Glenn Rule were both sent off for Chester and Vale took advantage with goals from Danny Glover, Rob Taylor and James Lawrie.[LNB]And Vale manager Glover admitted the dismissals had been decisive in the League Two contest.[LNB]"We were atrocious in the first half," said Glover. "My players looked frightened to death and we were fortunate to get to half-time on level terms.[LNB]"Obviously the sendings off gave us another leg up and we are just delighted to get the three points and send the fans home happy."[LNB]"At half-time we just told the players to have some belief and be men. Danny (Glover) had a nightmare in the first half, but so did a good many more of them. He will always attract more criticism than most because he's my son, but the goal gave him a boost and he played very well after that."[LNB][LNB]
