The 22-year-old has attracted interest from top-flight clubs north and south of the border thanks to a host of sterling displays for the Valiants over recent seasons.[LNB]However, he is set to become a free agent this summer and although a new contract offer has not yet been made, Glover is keen to get around a table and talk figures.[LNB]"I've tried to set the ball rolling and I'm waiting on Joe's agent to come back to me, I'd like to sit down and talk about a new contract," the Vale boss told The Sentinel.[LNB]"He's a young lad who is going to get better and over the last month or so he's started to get back to his old self. He's had a lot of criticism, but he's a good lad in the sense that he speaks his mind and wears his heart on his sleeve. I think Joe is a good asset for the club and he would be in the future."[LNB]He added: "I can only offer Joe what I can offer him. If people can offer him more money and that suits Joe, then he will go where he wants to go. I can only offer him what's in front of me and I won't break the bank."[LNB][LNB]
