Glover keen for Valiants stay

Vale's board are expected to convene sooner rather than later to discuss the future guidance of the club, with small sections of support demanding Glover be relieved of his duties. Season ticket sales for next season have been slow as a result, but Glover is keen to stay having only taken over from predecessor Lee Sinnott at the start of October. And having maintained the club's Football League status ahead of this weekend's final game against Barnet, he is keen to stress that he has achieved the goal set out to him when he took charge. "I honestly don't know what's going to happen. The protesters have been vocal as to what they want, but the majority of supporters have been backing myself and the team," Glover told The Sentinel. "But whatever happens, I've done my best for the team. I've kept us up, which is what was asked of me when I took over."
