Exodus calls in the lawyers
Exodus Geohaghon is seeking legal advice following his claims that he was racially abused by Port Vale`s own fans in Saturday`s 3-0 defeat at Accrington.
The defender, who joined in January on loan from Peterborough until the end of the season, looked to confront a group of visiting supporters as he left the Crown Ground pitch at the weekend and subsequently had to be ushered away by team-mates.
Geohaghon, having played no part in Vale`s 1-1 home draw with Hereford on Tuesday night, told the Sentinel: "I received a lot of abuse, but it was the racial stuff that made me react.
"People who saw my reaction and say it wasn't justified didn't hear what was said. I've got to speak with my solicitors and with the club before deciding what to do."
Port Vale are currently investigating the alleged incident, while Geohaghon`s loan future at the club remains unclear.
Elsewhere, celebrity Vale fan and majority shareholder Robbie Williams has politely rejected an appeal from two of the club`s fans` groups asking him to support their bid for a change of ownership. Williams insists he will abstaining from any vote on the future ownership of the club, having not followed events close enough or possessing enough information to lend his support either way.
